Target Group

BSP-Nepal is aiming to cover at least 70 districts of Nepal with high quality biogas plants. 66 districts have already been covered with biogas and in future other 4 districts are planed to be covered. For this purpose, BSP-Nepal shall give high attention on applied research to develop appropriate and suitable biogas plant designs specially in the remote and high altitude areas. Similarly, BSP-Nepal aims to reach more remote and poor people with biogas. BSP-Nepal is targeting the Nepali farmers who have at least one cattle and small piece of land. In this regard, smaller sized and low cost plant shall be developed and promoted.
